Yes, you read that right. This is our official Call for Papers for DEF CON 26. We are on the lookout for SE-related talks for consideration to present to the coolest audience at DEF CON. This year’s speakers have a lot to live up to. For the last 4 years our speakers presented to a packed house at DEF CON on a range of awesome topics, like the application of psychology to security and decision making, end user attacks, interrogation techniques, phishing, vishing, and, of course, social engineering.
Think you can help us make SE Village’s fourth year even more awesome? Whether you’re a professional social engineer, a less-than-professional social engineer, or a regular human with an interest in hacking other humans, let us know. Follow the guidelines below, and you could secure yourself a spot to speak at the SEVillage.
DEADLINE for submission is April 1, 2018.

These requirements are outlined below. Please be as detailed as possible so that our selection group can best evaluate your presentation against other submissions.
Failure to provide any of the above information may invalidate your submission. Submitting only a whitepaper, PDF, or other document, without all the above information, will be considered an incomplete submission and will not be considered.
If chosen you will be given:
- A speaking slot at the SEVillage
- A special, limited edition SE Challenge Coin
- A small Schwag Package (shirts, stickers, whatever we feel like)
- A free hug from the SE Team Member of your choice
