Jorina von Zimmermann graduated from University College London (UCL) with a Master degree in Social Cognition in 2012. A year later she started her PhD in the department of Experimental Psychology at UCL to investigate group behaviour. Her main research question is how a group environment influences individual behaviour and cognition and she is interested in the emergence, maintenance, and characteristics of a group mind. In her current studies, Jorina explores the positive and negative effects of behavioural synchrony in groups.
We discuss topics such as:
Is there personality traits that make someone easier to influence?
How does propaganda work against the masses?
Can this be applied to Social Engineering?
